VOID 2.0 – Battle for Metropolis

Since we have acquired the licenses for both VOID and Urban War, many of you have asked about the possibility of using miniatures from both ranges in your games. Also, as some Urban War veterans remember, there was the Metropolis wargame, which allowed players to run big squad-based games using the Urban War models.

We have decided to discontinue the Metropolis game, as having two squad-based games set in the same universe would be confusing. Instead, we have decided to expand the VOID game to include the units from Urban War and Metropolis rules.

Please welcome VOID2.0 – Battle for Metropolis!

VOID2.0 – Battle for Metropolis moves the action up a level from the small-scale skirmishes played out in Urban War. It shifts the focus from the individual to the squad, and players take command of armies, or ‘battle-forces’, containing several squads.

We will kick off with two new starter sets. First will be the VOID2.0 – Battle for Metropolis. In this set you will find two forces.
First are Viridians:

• 1x squad of Virdian Marines (4x Marines, 1x Sergant and 1x HGR)
• 1x squad of Viridian Shock Marines (4x Shock Marines, 1x Shock Marine Sgt and 1x Shock Marine with Grape Gun)
• Major Icharus Trask (Character).

The second force consists of Syntha:

• 1x Squad of Androsynths (4x Androsynths, 1x Androsynths Alpha and 1x Androsynths with Plasma Launcher)
• 1x Squad of Tactical Teratosynths (2x Tactical Teratosynths, 1x Tactical Teratosynths Alpha, 1x Tactical Teratosynths with mini-MLRS)
• Neo Pi (Character)

The other set will be a new VOID 2.0 – Squad Tactics set that will consist of Virdian Marines and Syntha Androsynths, but on a smaller scale – a perfect set for those who are looking to start their adventure with VOID or Urban War.

We are currently finalising box content and starting to work on tooling and stock, so there can be slight changes to the above lists.

We aim to start accepting pre-orders next week with the aim of delivery by mid/end of February 2026. All minitures will be cast in SioCast. Over this year, we have gained more experience in working with this material and are very pleased with the results. And this is a great opportunity to start transferring the old metal models to this new material.

Other news

That’s all for this week!

We have more stuff coming in, like brand new Urban War models and some new WW2 20mm miniatures for the Commando Strike range, as well as some fantasy models, and of course some news about Leviathan – both 10mm and 28mm versions.

We will have more details about those next week!

Have a nice weekend!

Cheers,
Sebastian
